The Buckners Cask Strength lineup was created as a tribute to Captain Buckner who was a decorated person on the battlefield but was also known for developing the land that gave rise to the city of Augusta, Kentucky. This ignited regional trade all along the Ohio River and laid the foundation for the area to thrive.
As with all Augusta releases, this 10 year comes from a single barrel of unfiltered and uncompromised Cask Strength Bourbon. It is designed to be approachable but still delivers a complex and memorable pour that you would expect from a Bourbon of this age.
