We are very excited to be hosting our next virtual event with Moreish Wines, official importer of Rare Character here in Australia. On the night, we will be joined by Ben and Alex from Moreish Wines and will be chatting all things about the brand, upcoming plans for Australia and what makes RC special. 

Rare Character is a premium American whiskey producer known for distinctive, highly considered releases that sit apart from the ordinary. Drawing on strong industry relationships, access to exceptional barrels, and the palate of co-founder Pablo Moix, the brand creates bourbons and ryes with depth, individuality, and a clear sense of intent.

Over the last few years, Rare Character have built a fantastic range of offerings and we can’t wait to share them with you as part of this event. Whether it’s the recent Rare Character Limited Releases, the modernised Fortuna Bourbon, the very limited Exceptional Series Malt or the Paladar Tequila, it’s a fantastic opportunity to try a range of products we rarely see in Australia. 1. Paladar Reposado Tequila  – Paladar is a Tequila brand founded by Rare Character co-founder Pete Nevenglosky. Aged in Bourbon Barrels for 4 months, the Reposado is a perfect way to start the tasting.

5. Fortuna Barrel Proof Kentucky Bourbon – Founded in the 1880’s by Phillip Hollenbach, Fortuna played an integral role in the early days of the American whiskey industry. While the brand closed it’s doors in the 1960’s, it is now being revitalised for a new generation of bourbon drinkers.

6. Rare Character Exceptional Series Malt Whiskey – The Exceptional Series from Rare Character exemplifies the driving mission of our brand: to release the most distinguished and highest quality whiskeys we can possibly source.
