About Us

Honey Barrel is a new project from us - lifelong Melbourne friends, Kia Rasteh and Brynley Cullen.

Our goal is to bring you rare and unique spirits, tailored to your palate. The wild world of spirits can be a daunting one so we are excited to share what we are discovering daily. 

We both love new world whiskies, rums and tequilas - but bourbons and ryes are what you'll find open in our drinks cabinets. Bryn's gateway whiskies were Bakery Hill Cask Strength and Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist, whereas Kia got the itch from GlenDronach 18 and Ardbeg Corryvreckan. These days Bryn prefers a GlenAllachie or a Michter's. Kia turned his attention to many different bourbons, fruity ex-bourbon cask single malt and Glenfarclas family cask.

Masterclasses are available for our core range as well as one-off corporate tasting events.
